Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026. Plain-language summary: we do not ask who you are, and there is nothing on this site to log in to.
What this site is
MetroWages is a set of static HTML pages. There is no account system, no comment form, no newsletter signup, and no user-generated content.
Data we collect directly
None. We do not set cookies, we do not use local storage, and the site runs no client-side JavaScript beyond nothing at all — the pages are pre-rendered.
Server and hosting data
Our hosting provider records standard request information — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, referrer — in order to serve the site and defend against abuse. These logs are used for operations and aggregate reporting, not to identify individuals.
Third parties
We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not hold any. If advertising or analytics is introduced in future, this policy will be updated before that happens, and any such provider will be named here along with its opt-out mechanism.
External links
Pages link to the Bureau of Labor Statistics and other third-party sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Children
This site publishes occupational wage statistics and is not directed at children under 13.
Your rights
Privacy regimes such as the GDPR and CCPA grant rights of access, correction, and deletion over personal data. Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to retrieve or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will investigate.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date at the top.
